讀到 Catholic Culture 轉載的一篇關於拉辛格思想的文章：

The Centrality of Truth in the Thought of Joseph Ratzinger

當中提及到他在大學教授神學時代的一些片段：

Scripture is the norm of all theology. Ratzinger knows it from cover to cover. He never attended a seminar or colloquium at the university without the Greek New Testament at his side, which he regularly consulted.

一個人身邊的「百寶袋」中藏有哪些「乾坤」，往往反映他最關心的事物。相傳聖道明曾背誦大部分的聖保祿書信。這些都拜日子有功、「他喜愛上主的誡命，晝夜默思祂的法令」（詠 1:2）所賜。

雖然自己並不是神學家，但對聖經的重視方面，則顯然仍有很大的改善空間。
